Radiesse® with Lidocaine is a calcium hydroxyapatite-based tissue stimulator and filler that provides immediate volume correction. The unique composition of Radiesse® immediately improves facial features comparable to other fillers. The preparation is made of calcium hydroxyapatite (CaHA) particles suspended in a gel matrix, which creates a kind of scaffolding in places that require volumetry. On this basis, fibroblasts stimulated by hydroxyapatite create new collagen, thanks to which the effects of skin thickening, smoothing wrinkles and filling facial features are maintained, even though the gel matrix building the preparation is completely absorbed after fulfilling its role. Newly produced collagen will remain in its place.
